 Hi, I’m Mercedes — your dedicated event planner and the heart behind Bella Events.

I’m a woman who wears many hats, but the most cherished is being a full-time mom to three beautiful children. Two of my little ones are neurodiverse, and they’ve taught me more about love, patience, flexibility, and creativity than any textbook ever could. Our home is lively, unpredictable, and filled with joy — and with little ones running around, “stable” is always a moving target!

The vision for Bella Events started long before the business had a name. I found myself naturally planning and creating for the people I loved — from my aunt’s wedding and my niece’s Sweet 16 to my sister-in-law’s wedding. I loved bringing ideas to life, managing the details, and creating moments people would remember.

Bella Events officially launched in 2020 as a decorating company, named after my daughter, who was born that same year. Decorating was my first step into the industry, but the vision was always bigger: weddings and event planning.

Today, Bella Events has grown beyond décor into full-service event planning, coordination, event design, and décor for weddings, milestone celebrations, private events, and special occasions. We also create and host our own experiences, including our annual Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day Paint & Sips.

As the business continues to grow, so does my commitment to creating events that feel intentional, personal, and unforgettable. I’ve faced doubts along the way, but I’ve always let my work speak for itself. Every event still feels like my first — with the same drive, attention to detail, and excitement to exceed expectations.

For me, it’s never just about planning an event. It’s about taking your vision, bringing it to life, and making the entire experience feel seamless and special.
